Including situational interviews during the recruitment process is a good thing because it enable recruiters to see how applicants would act and think during certain situations. Of course, creating the perfect scenario or even hinting on possible scenario should be done in the correct manner.
If you are actually at loss on how to ask such questions or in illiciting the right response, here is a guide in doing situation interviews:
-Describe the duties and/or responsibilities during your work and/or academic experience demonstrate you ability to do the job for which you are applying.
-Describe situations during work, school, and campus affiliations where you demonstrated leadership qualities.
-What skills and attributes do you bring to the job?
-Give examples from work experience, classroom, and/or organizational involvement which demonstrate that you are creative.
-Give examples from work experience, classroom, and/or organizational involvement which demonstrate that you are a self-starter.
I hope this would help.
