Whould You Hire This Person?

Standardization in recruitment could be considered as old-fashioned. Though that is the case, standardization is still important in order to know the different characteristics which are priorities in looking for the perfect candidate for a job.

Recruitment could be likened as to buying a product hence the different marketing strategies of a person in order for companies to pay attention to them. Here are some crazy stunts that applicants have tried in order to get the job they want:

-Puts up posters of himself in your company parking lot.
-Attaches pineapple scratch-and-sniff stickers to his resume.
-Announces his candidacy with a singing telegram.
-Sends lottery tickets with her resume.
-Rents a billboard that you can see from your office to list his qualifications.
-Bakes cookies with icing to write several reasons why she should be hired.
-Delivers pre-paid Chinese food, including a fortune cookie with his name and number.

Would you consider hiring this person? Personally, nothing beats a proper resume and application form as opposed to other marketing strategies.
