As I continue my blog post which focuses on the different focus of an interview, this blog post would acually discuss the future: Career Goals.
As an interviewer, you need to know if the applicant is thinking of the future and what they would be in the coming years. This is important because it is a factor in determining the main motivator of a person in applying. Aside from the future, this also shows the possible steps that candidates could do in order to ensure that they would achieve their goals. Here are some questions to help you determine this category:
-What would you like to being doing five years from now?
-How will you judge yourself successful? How will you achieve success?
-What type of position are you interested in?
-How will this job fit in your career plans?
-What do you expect from this job?
-Do you have a location preference?
-Can you travel?
-What hours can you work?
-When could you start?
What other questions can you think of?
