Would you like to know if you got the job or not? Of course, feedback should be considered as a vital part in the recruitment process regardless if its going to be a bad or a good feedback.
The feedback part in recruitment is important because it creates the impression that the company really values the candidates or applicants who are really interested in applying for the position. There are many ways to inform the candidate of their status of application and here are some examples:
a. Tell the status of their application personally (during interviews)
b. Send an e-mail/sms/text message (in a business-like format)
c. Send a snail mail
One thing that is optional during this process is revealing the reason for their non-acceptance or acceptance-depending on the case. The main thing here is that you are able to give some kind of "closure" for applicants who applied for your company.
