One of the misguided notions in recruitment is the "call-outs" phase. This is the stage wherein recruiters are calling out applicants in order to schedule them for a probable interview and examination. Some recruiters do not take this seriously because they consider it a waste of their time. Well, they are wrong
One effective way to source candidates is by calling them and of course, the list should be full in terms of quality and availability. Scott Beardsley's article entitled Tips to Consider When Directly Sourcing for Candidates mentioned two important factors when sourcing candidates. These tips are:
* Building a good list of names to call.
* Being effective at processing the list.
In this way, you would lessen the effort and time you spent in gathering possible applicants and the ones that are in the list are the ones more likely to be hired. Whatever the case maybe, always remember that recruitment always prefers quality for their applicants because it saves time and effort yet delivers 100% quality.
