Obviously, administering an exam is one of the first things that should be implemented in a recruitment process. There are a lot of different standardized tests used for recruitment but one thing that these tests do is measure the IQ of the person. The results of this test is important becuase it somehow defines the ability of a person and the learning curve of candidates.
Some people don't view test administration as essential but for me, this is something that is crucial and should be conducted in an orderly manner. One thing that should be practiced here is the giving of proper instructions during test administration and making sure that the candidate(s) got it correctly. If this was not practiced, the accuracy level of the test could be compromised. Another thing which should be noted is the time alloted for the test because a set time is established in order for the recruiter to measure if the applicant could still fair well under pressure.
This aspect of recruitment is overlooked but if you re-evaluate this process then you could somehow make an effective recruitment strategy.
