Body language is very important not just in courtship but with job interviews as well. Being confident is all about the attitude and this could also be evident in the way that you present yourself to the recruiter.

As a recruiter, there are specific things which I observe while conducting an interview or even from observing them from afar. Here are some of the things which I take note of in a potential candidate:
Handshake - It really doesn't matter if you have sweaty hands or not but a firm and strong hanshake shows confidence and belief in one's self. Do not hesitate to extend your hands for a handshake because it shows a sense of being "professional" during the interview.
Eye Contact - This is important to me because the eyes are very expressive and could give a lot away if you are lying with your answers. Answering questions honestly and looking straight at the interviewer's eyes is a sign that you are genuine in answering the questions.
Posture - Sitting down quite comfortably is a good thing because it relaxes you. However, sitting down very comfortably is a sign of disrespect because being "too comfortable" takes away the formality in an interview.
Anyway, here are just some things that you should consider when looking for a job and undergoing job interviews. There are still many to come so be sure to read my blog!
