This blog post would attempt to inform you, dear readers about the things which you should be before your job interview and during it as well. This is on order for you to be prepared and at the same time make sure that you won't repeat the past mistakes that you've done in your previous job interviews.
Here is a brief list of things you MUST do in a job interview:
a. Dress appropriately - Going with your gym clothes on is a big NO when it comes to job interviews. Dressing appropriately is essential because it shows that you respect the company or even the interviewer regardless if they observe strict rules in their organization. Always remeber that being overdressed would be preferrable as opposed to being underdressed.
b. Research First - Being informed is being forearmed. This means that the more you know about the company, the better your chances of being hired. Things that should be known ASAP is the position that you are applying for (of course), interview-related information (venue, time, contact person, etc.), and company background.
c. Have a copy of your updated resume - If you submitted your resume online, chances are the employers already has a copy of it. Though that is the case, bringing an extra copy would be advisable.
Anyway, those are just tips to get you in the right track for a job interview. Just make sure that you answer all questions as honestly as possible.
