Don't get me wrong, I love web 2.0. I ugraded a long time ago. But, if there's one thing I have just gotta ask:
Will anything ever come out of BETA?
You see it everywhere. It's almost a joke now. The blog headlines blaze: "New, incredible website that does amazing things (beta)".
Conveniently, how am I supposed to complain when something goes wrong?
CSR: Thanks for holding. How can I help you?
Me: Your website isn't amazing.
CSR: Excuse me?
Me: Your blog said your website "does amazing things". Well, I tried it, and it's not amazing.
CSR: Well, sir. If you kept reading, you would see that we're also in Beta. There are glitches to be expected. Furthermore, our blog is in beta as well, so it's not an official source of company information.
