This is the toughest (employment market) I've ever seen, and I've been in the business quite a few years," said John Thomas, the vice president of employee relations and employment for Whitney Bank.
"And it's getting worse as hurricane season approaches," said Lucy Bosworth, branch manager for Strategic Staffing Solutions, a company that helps place information technology workers.
