Ryan Money of HireVue has a category on his blog called 'Mental Capital'. I like that name as a way of describing the awesome equity some people posess with the things they know--and share.
In this post he talks about a phone conversation with Jeremy Langhands of JLA. He says:
...when I got off the phone call I just sat in my seat and thought about how amazing people can be sometimes. ... He had shown me so many resources and tools. He knows exactly what he is the best at and where he fits in. Plus he is HIGHLY passionate about what he does. I felt so invigorated after getting off the phone with him. (#)
First of all, when was the last time someone felt 'invigorated' because of the passion tyou bring to your life each day?
Next, how great is it that Jeremy took the time to share, not just talk. That's good stuff, and I believe it builds equity between people and, in a chaos-theory-esqe sort of way, I believe it makes our economy stronger in the long-run.
...Sounds like we found another lovecat out there. Rock on.
