Indeed.com has a cool new feature that graphs the jobs it has found as it crawls the web. For example, as a Technical Recruiter, I am often asked what is most-popular--Java or C#... or variations of that. In my opinion, the demand for these, like everything, is cyclical. The results from Indeed were interesting:

This graph does show the cycle effect of the demand for these skills, but I didn't count on the volume of Java positions being so much higher than the demand for everything else.
